『守護霊を持て』と因縁の伝達機構
昭和五十五年（一九八〇年）に出版された。
この本でわたくしがいおうとしたことは、因縁は何から形づくられているか、そして、
いＩ内Ｌ５トーｒ～。のぶ憶として伝えられてゆくかということであった。そこまで読んで
くれている人は、きわめて少ないと思うが、これは、実は『幸福への原理』以降、ずっと
一貫してこの三十年近く追求してきたわたくしのテーマである。
どのようにして因縁が伝えられるのかという疑問に対するいちばん最初の答えは、「個
体発生は系統発生を繰り返す」というＥ・Ｈ・へ″ケルの生物理論であった。これは『幸
福への原理』、『変身の原理』及び『チャンネルをまわせ』などに図とともに載せ、詳しく
説明している。
そして、それはさらに、『密教－－超能力の秘密』にいたって、ＤＮＡの遺伝子機構に記憶
伝達のカギがある、というところまで進んだ。しかし、それだけではどうも納得のいかな
いところがあった。それを追求しているうちに、突然、ひらめくようにわかったものがあ
った。
それは何かというと、『チャンネルをまわせ』を書きはじめる頃、わたくしに霊視能力が出てき
た。その霊視能力によって、見えてきたのは、「横変死の因縁Ｌをもっている人には横変死をした霊
障が必ずついているということである。ここにいたって、わたくしの因縁に対する考え
方が飛躍的に大きく展開していった。それは、『チャンネルをまわせ』に書いたよう

にＫ少年という実在の少年がいて、この少年は精神分裂症的な症状があって悩んでいる。
そこで、わたくしが因縁透視すると、「横変死の因縁」があった。精神分裂症的な症状と
いうのが、実はこの「横変死の因縁Ｌからきていたわけである。
そして、今度は霊視をしてみると、三代前の老人の霊障、火事によって横変死した曾祖
父の霊障が見えてきた。
そこで、Ｋ少年とそのお母さんに会っていろいろ聞いているうちに、曾祖父は放火をし
て死んでいることがわかってきた。事業に失敗して破産宣告を受け、先祖伝来の家屋敷を
人手に渡さなければならなくなった。そのために、放火して自殺したのである。
この少年には、大癩滴とでもいうような火に対する異常な反応があった。
ということは、わたくしがそれまで考えてきたＤＮＡの記憶機構を通して、曾祖父から
曾孫へ悪しき因縁が伝えられたということで説明がつくはずであった。
ところが、よく調べてみると、この曾祖父と曾孫との間には血のつながりがなかったの
である。家庭の事情で曾祖父と曾孫となっているが、実際には血がつなかっていない。
であるのにもかかわらず、義理の曾祖父の焼身自殺の記憶が義理の曾孫にまで到達して、
火の恐怖による神経症があらわれてきている。
これはどういうことであるのか、いろいろ考えた結果、生物理論や遺伝子機構など、科
学的理論だけではこの経過を説明できない。これは一種のテレパシー、霊的テレパシーと
のかしあるｙ．トか吋えられない。その霊的テレパシーこそがわたくしの霊祝能力
に感じられる正体だと考え、これを悪しき霊、すなわち霊障として表現することにしたわ
けである。

このことについては、別の章で詳しく述べておいた。
わたくしのいう霊障とは、単に迷信的な霊の障りではない、四谷怪談のお岩さまのよう
なものを考えてもらっては困るのである。
ともかく、結論としては、因縁のあらわれというのは、霊というものの存在に深いかか
わりがあるということである。ということは、人間それ自体の生の営みに、霊というもの
が、深いかかわりがあるということである。結論をいえば、良き因縁は良き霊の影響、悪
しき因縁は悪しき霊の影響によるものということになる。『チャンネルをまわせ』を書い
てから三年の間、わたくしは苦しみ抜いてこのことを考え追求してきた。そうして、つか
んだ成果を、わかりやすく書いたのがこの『守護霊を持て』である。

『チャンネルをまわせ』の意義
この本は、昭和五十年（一九七五年）に出版された。
この本でわたくしは、密教から阿含教へとチャンネルを回したわけである。わたくしの
密教と阿含経との中間点に位置するのがこの本である。運命を形成する要素は因縁である。ではその因縁を構成するのは何んであるのか、真剣に考えはじめた。この本の中では、因縁に「チャンネル」とルビを振っている。それは、人間を動かす代表的なチャンネルとして因縁というものを、もう歩掘り下げて考えはじめていたからである。｀
この本は、二つの柱から成っている。
一つは、心理学者、Ｌ・ソンディの「運命心理学」である。
もう一つは、運命のもとになる因縁に深いかかわりのある不成仏霊の存在である。
ソンディ心理学によると、人間の運命を決定する因子として、「家族吟無意識Ｌというものが設定されている。この家族的無意識というのは、「個人のなかに抑圧されている祖先の欲求が、恋愛・友情・職業・疾病、および死亡における無意識的選択行動となって、個人の運命を決定する」というものである。
これは、そのまま、それまでのわたくしの持論である因縁論になる。そこで、わたくしはこれを紹介すると同時に、そのソンディ理論の欠陥をも、この本の中で書くことにした
のである。ソンディ博士は、ユングとも並び称せられるほどの大心理学者であり、その大心理学者の理論に欠陥があるというのは大変なことであるが、それは、わたくしに霊視能力が出てきたことによって出来たのである。霊視能力をもったことにより、ソンディ理論の欠陥を発見することができたのだ。
わたくしは、その頃から、霊視能力が出てきていた。以前から偶然的に霊視能力があらわれて、人に憑いている霊やその霊障を見ることがよくあったが、この頃から意志的に、系統立てて、そういうものが見えるようになってきた。それが、ソンディ理論の欠陥の補足というかたちになってあらわれたので、そういう意味で、わたくしの一つの進歩を示すきわめて歴史的な転機としての本ということができる。この本の中にＫ少年の話か出てくるが、この実在する少年の背後霊をわたくしははっきりと見ていたわけである。霊障となっている不成仏霊をはつきりと捉えた上で、その少年を指導し、この本を書いたわけである。しかし、この本では霊障という通俗的な言葉を使わなかったが、それは、わたくしのいう霊障というのは、一般にいう幽霊のような意味とは根本的にちがっているからで誤解を招くおそれを避けて、この言葉を使わなかったのである。この本では、Ｋ少年の例でいえば、曾祖父の抑圧意識が、少年の深層意識に入り込んでいるという表現を用いたが、この曾祖父とＫ少年は、血がつながっていないのである。それなのに、ソンディ流にいうと、抑圧意識が伝わってい
る。それはどうして伝わったのか？　ＤＮＡという遺伝子機構を通らずにどうして伝わったのか？　一種の霊的バイブレーションを想定するしかない。そしてそれをわたくしは見たのである。そのわたくしの見たものを、わたくしはと　霊障　名づけたのである。この
本ではその「霊障」を心理学的に説明したわけである。
後にベストセラーとなった『守護霊を持て』の守護霊や、『霊障を解く』の霊障の深層心理学的解明を試みたのがこの本であった。この『チャンネルをまわせ』で突きとめた成果をもとに、非常に通俗的にわかりやすく書いたのが『守護霊を持て』その他である。
ところで、この「チャンネルをまわせ」の中で使った主要文献の佐竹隆三著『運命心理学入門』という本は、あとで知ったことだが、力富崇志氏の御父君の経営される黎明書房から刊行された本だったのである。力富氏とお会いした時、そう聞かされて、非常にびっくりしたものである。力富氏との出会いに、何かわたくしは因縁的なものを感ずるのである。
守護霊ブームと霊障ブーム
『守護霊を持て』でわたくしは、全国的な守護霊ブームや霊障ブームをつくり出したわけであるが、その源は『チャンネルをまわせ』である。この『チャンネルをまわせ』を書いた時点で、すでに実質的には『守護霊を持て』を書きはじめていたといって過言ではない。
『守護霊を持て』の中で紹介した霊障を指導した実例も、すでにこの『チャンネルをまわせ』の中に先駆的な形で出しているわけである。Ｋ少年の例はまさにそれに該当する。
以後の執筆の源となったという意味において、あるいはわたくし自身の霊視能力がその頃開眼されたということ、この二つの意味でこの『チャンネルをまわせ』は、非常に大きなわたくしの転換期を象徴する所産であった。

『変身の原理』以降にあらわれた超能力開発の本や密教関係の本においても、わたくしの
ように、著者自身がその力を体得していると、言言している本はない。だから、超能力を

これが『変身の原理』の大きな特徴といえよう。
この本が出版されたのは、昭和四十六年（一九七一年）である。そして、それ以来、わた
くしは、わたくしの体得した超人的な力を現実に発揮し、曲りなりにそれを実証してきた
と思っている。
したがって、『変身の原理』を読む人は、単なる密教の紹介書としてではなく、これは
桐山靖雄の世の中に対する宣言であり、あるいは、言一言１　であるという認識のもとに読ん
でいただきたいと思う。そして、わたくしがその中で宣言したことは、今日にいたるこの
十一年間で一応実現してきたと思う。わたくしのいまの力の源泉は、まさしくこの一冊の
本によって説明されているわけである。
そして、わたくしを変身させたこの力は、さらに窮極のものに向かってわたくしを強力
に変身させてゆくことになるのである。

『密教－１超能力の秘密』と大脳生理学
この本は、『変身の原理』をさらに一歩、前進させた本である。刊行は、昭和四十七年
（一九七二年）である。『変身の原理』で説いた密教の方法を、さらに理論的に裏づけし、密
教の内奥を紹介したわけである。
この本でわたくしは、はじめてクンダリニー・ヨーガの「チャクラ」を説いた。日本で
「チャクラ」を紹介した最初の本であると思う。
この本が出る前年あたりに、Ｃ・Ｗ・リードビーターが『ザーチャクラス』という本を
出した。この本は、当時の日本ではまだ翻訳されていなかった。わたくしは、英語があま
り読めないが、自分自身の修行体験によって、掲載されている絵を見ただけで、リードビ
ーターが書いているチャクラの内容が把握できた。
リードビーターは、「チャクラ」を集中力の中心と訳し、「チャクラという語はサンスク
リト
それから、この『密教』の中で、変身の原理を、市川亀久弥さんの『創造工学』のサナギから蝶に
変化する、あの変身に対応して説いたわけである。
これは非常に斬新な論理の展開であったとわたくしは、いまでも誇りにしている。
それに、これは『変身の原理Ｌと共通していることであり、前述の中村保男さんの『オカルト』
の「あとがき」で紹介されているのであるが、大脳生理学というものをはじめて宗教の世界にもちこんだのは、この本であった。それまで、
側頭葉とか前頭葉という大脳生理学の世界が、宗教の次元で話題にされたことはほとんど
なかったと思う。

故時実利彦博士の本は、大脳生理学の本としてかなり読まれたが、それを宗教の分野に
もちこみ、マンーパワー開発との関連で述べたのは、わたくしが最初であった。人間の脳
細胞ニューロンは百四十億から百五十億ある。その三パーセントくらいしか人間は使って
いない。だから、あとの九〇何パーセントを開発すれば超能力が得られるというような説
き方をしたのは、とにかくわたくしの本がはじめてである。
また、この本で誇りに思っているのは、公害問題にしろ、遺伝子工学の問題にしろ、一
般の新聞や雑誌が取りあげるはるか以前にこの本で、すでに取り上げているということで
ある。たとえば、公害がいずれ大きな社会的、国家的な問題になることを指摘しているし、
また、遺伝子工学の進歩で、クローン人間の出現の可能性などに触れたが、これなどこの
本の出版後数年も経った、いまから二、三年前あたりから全国紙が取り上げはじめたにす
ぎない。
そういう意味で、一つの時代を画した本であったと思う。わたくしは、自信をもって、
白画自賛している。
このあと、この本の延長線上にある本の出版がつづく。昭和四十八年（一九七三年）に出版
した四回念力しは、『変身の原理』と、『密教－超能力の秘密』とを、通俗的にわかりやすく
したものである。
