Song of the Seven Jewels
of Awakening
心の奥に 眠る七つの宝
迷いの闇を 静かに照らす
念は力を 意志と知を結び
定は澄む ひとつの心へ
namo saptānāṁ samyaksaṁbuddha
koṭīnāṁ tadyathā oṁ cale cule cundī svāhā
môṣa-dānaṃ samyak-saṃbuddha-kundhī-nāma-tathāgatā
oṃ cundī śrī cundī svāhā
捨てよ執われ 自在なる空へ
精進の火が 智慧を燃やす
七覚支よ 成仏の道しるべ
解脱の光 われを導け
namo saptānāṁ samyaksaṁbuddha koṭīnāṁ tadyathā oṁ cale cule cundī svāhā
môṣa-dānaṃ samyak-saṃbuddha-kundhī-nāma-tathāgatā oṃ cundī śrī cundī svāhā
Deep in the heart lie seven hidden jewels,
They softly illumine the darkness of delusion.
Mindfulness binds the will and wisdom as one,
Concentration clears into a single pure heart.

môṣa-dānaṃ samyak-saṃbuddha-kundhī-nāma-tathāgatā
oṃ cundī śrī cundī svāhā
Let go of clinging, soar free into the sky,
The fire of effort kindles the flame of wisdom.
O Seven Factors, the guiding path to Buddhahood,
Lead me by the light of liberation.
