シンギングボウル（Singing Bowl）とは、「シンギング」＝歌う・音を出す、「ボウル」＝器のことです。
スティックを用いて縁を叩いたりこすったりすることで、独自の癒しの音色、倍音を奏でることができます。
別名、チベットシンギングボウル、シンギングボール、チベタンボウル、チベットボウル、ドニパトロともいわれるシンギングボウルは金属製で、ハンドメイドと機械製のものがあります。
サイズは小さなものは直径数センチから一般的には直径10センチ前後、大きなものは直径100センチ近いものまであります。
シンギングボウルが奏でる倍音とは基本的な音の複数倍になっている振動のことで、心地よさやヒーリング効果があるとされています。
