七宝です。 如来・無所著・等正覚がこの世に出現する時には、この七覚支(法という) 宝がこの世 に出現するのです」

以上のように仏さまは説かれました。もろもろの比丘たちは仏さまの説法を承り、歓喜して修 行に励みました。

お釈迦さまは転輪王の七宝になぞらえて、 七覚支法は如来の七宝であるとおっしゃっているわ けです。「是の如く」とは、それと同じようにということです。如来・無所著・等正覚が世に出 現される時も同様に、七覚支法という七宝が出現するわけです。如来とは真如の世界から来られ たお方という意味で、仏さまのことです。無所著も仏さまの別名です。仏さまは一切のものに執著執着しないので、無所著というわけです。あらゆるものの執着から離れたお方ですから、 仏さまのことを無所著といいます。等正覚もやはり仏さまの別名ですが、比類のない最高の正し 悟りを得られたお方という意味です。 如来も無所著も等正覚も、仏さまのことです。

仏さまがこの世に出現される時には、転輪王が七つの宝を得られるように、七つの宝ともいう べき七つの法が世間に出現するのです。

それでは、仏陀の七宝である七覚支法とは、どういう法なのでしょうか?

これは、念覚支択法覚支・精進覚支・喜覚支・息(軽安・猗)覚支・定覚支・捨覚支の七 つからなる修行法です。

七覚支法の詳しい説明は、拙著「輪廻する葦」(平河出版社)で説明しておりますが(二八四 三二四頁参照)、念のために簡単に説明すると、

１念覚支……念の力を強化し、その力によって空観を体得する行

2択法覚支..世の中にたくさんある宗教・信仰・哲学の中から、真実の教法を選ぶ修行

3精定…一心の努力精進によって、自分が選んだ教法を体得する修行

4喜覚覚支・・・・真実の教法を身につける喜びに住する修行

５息覚支・・・・　心身を軽快にする修行

6定進覚… 「滅尽定」「四禅定」を含む、特殊な瞑想法

７捨覚支・・・・(執著)する心を捨てる修行 ものごとにとらわれて執着

転輪王という偉大な王さまが出現される時には、 輪宝をはじめとした七つの宝が世の中に出て、 転輪王はそれを得て世界を統一し、立派な世の中を建設します。 同様に、如来が出現される時に は七つの法、七覚支法が現われ、如来はその法をもって世の中を救うのだ、とお釈迦さまはおっ しゃっているのです。

わたくしは、このお経は一種の予言であると思います。 このお経を目にした時、これは予言経 だなと直感しました。

どのような予言でしょうか?

現代に、まさに如来が出現するという予言です。わたくしたちが生きている、今この時代に如 来が現われるぞ、という予言であるとわたくしは思うのです。

なぜ、そういうことがいえるのでしょうか?

わたくしは、二つの理由を挙げることができます。

まず第一に、今この時代に如来が現われなければ、この世界は絶滅するということです。もし も今、如来が出現されなかったならば、この世界は壊滅します。 エントロピーの法則というもの がありますが、この法則に照らし合わせても、地球の壊滅は遠くない将来であるといわざるを得 ません。 どうしても今、如来が出現されなければならないのです。

第二の理由は、現在、わたくしたちの手によって、七覚支法が世に出ているからです。 今まで の日本は仏教国とはいいながら、七覚支法など目にしたこともなければ、聞いたこともなかった 人がほとんどでした。 「阿含経」の中にすでに説かれているものの、その「阿含経」自体が小乗 経典とけなされて、まったく顧みられなかったために、七覚支法をはじめとしたお釈迦さまの成 仏法・七科三十七道品のすべてが、だれにも修行されることなく、埋もれたままになっていたの です。

ところが阿含宗が登場して、 七科三十七道品の存在が世の中に広まってきました。七覚支法も わたくしが「輪廻する』を書いて、初めて世に出たといっても過言ではありません。 諸君がお

釈迦さまの成仏法・七科三十七道品の存在を知ったのは、わたくしの本を読んでからか、あるい は阿含宗に入行してからのはずです。

しかし、それは諸君だけではありません。 在家であるあなた方だけではないのです。 非常に著 名な大乗仏教の僧侶や学僧でさえも、わたくしの著書を読んでお釈迦さまの成仏法七科三十七 道品の存在を初めて知った、という人がほとんどです。

阿含宗が登場するまでは、「阿含経」を学んだことのない学者や学僧が大半を占めていました。 彼らの多くは大乗経典の研究者だったのです。大きな書店の宗教書のコーナーに行っても、「阿 「含経」の解説書など、皆無に等しい状態でした。もっとも、「阿含経」の研究書を出版しても、 だれも買わなかったと思いますが。

ところがわたくしが阿含宗を立て、「阿含経」を世の中に広め出してからは、大きな書店の宗 教書のコーナーに、「阿含経」に関する書籍が次々と並ぶようになったわけです。

世界を救う如来の出現

• 中阿含経・七宝

そこでいえるのは、七覚支法という成仏法は阿含宗が登場して初めて、世の中に出現したとい うことです。それまでも存在はしていましたが、広く世間に知られていませんでした。しかし、 阿含宗の登場によって「阿含経」も、そこに説かれる七覚支法も、世間の知るところとなったの

前述のように、

「如来が出現される時には、七覚支法が世間に現われる」

お釈迦さまは『七宝経』で説かれておりました。阿含宗によって七覚支法が世間に知られる

ようになったのは、決して偶然とは思えません。

それが如来なのです。

今、この世は危機的状態の中にあり、その危機を救うためには、どうしても仏陀が出現されな ければなりません。 如来が現われなければならないのです。そうでなければ、この世界は壊滅す るとわたくしは思います。

しかしながら、この世界がそう簡単に壊滅するとは思えません。 とすると、なにかが出現し、 だれかが現われて、この世界を破滅から救うということになるでしょう。だれがこの世を救うの でしょうか?

それでは、その如来とはだれでしょうか?

その如来とは、阿含宗なのだとわたくしは思います。 如来とは、 わたくしであり、あなた方な のです。お釈迦さまの成仏法・七科三十七道品を広めているわたくしや諸君が、この世を救う如 来である、とわたくしは考えています。 成仏法を世に出す努力をする人たち、その人たちがすな わち如来なのです。お釈迦さまの成仏法を世に出すということは、お釈迦さまを世に出すことに ほかなりません。さらに、お釈迦さまを世に出すということは、自分自身が如来となることでは ありませんか。

自分自身が如来となり、お釈迦さまの成仏法をこの世に広めることによって、世界は壊滅から 救われる。わたくしはこのお経を、そのような予言経であると解釈しております。

『七宝経』は短いお経でありますが、内容はじつに意味深長です。 わたくしたちは一生懸命に努 力して、この予言を現実のものにしなければいけません。お釈迦さまの成仏法を身につけ、成仏 法を世に出していくのです。その功徳によってわたくしたちも成仏し、名実ともに如来になるの です。お釈迦さまは、

「おまえたちすべてが如来になりなさい。その時、世界は救われるのだ」

というお気持ちを込めて、このお経をお説きになられたのだとわたくしは感じます。

このように大切なことが説かれている「阿含経」が、日本では千数百年以上も顧みられること もなく埋もれていました。そのことを考えますと、心の底からつくづく嘆息せざるを得ません。 しかしながら、考えようによると、これまでの世界は「阿含経」をさほど必要とすることのな い、比較的によい時代であったのかもしれません。昔は、人間の力で地球を破壊することなど、 とうてい不可能でした。ところが今は違います。 地球を何回も破壊して、それでもまだ余りある ほどの核を人類は保有しています。そのような破滅に瀕した地球を救うためにこそ、「阿含経」 は温存されてきたのかもしれません。非常時のために、大切にしまわれてきたとも考えられます。 それをわたくしたちが発見して、世界を救うために世に出しつつあるのです。これ以上の梵行は ありません。

わたくしたちは手を握り合って、この活動を宗教運動というような小さな枠内だけではなく、 大きな大きな社会運動にまで盛り上げていき、この地球の壊滅を救うように努力しなければいけ 中阿含経・七宝

ません。その時期がまさに今、到来したのです。

孤独のあった森林(ジェータヴァナ) の別訳 小部経典 南方上座部の聖典・バーリ五部の一つで、 十五分からなる。 パーリ五部の他の四部「長部経』 中部経典 部経典」 「増支部経典」は、それぞれ漢訳」「中阿含経」「阿含経」 「増一阿含経』にほぼ対応するが、『小部経典」 に含まれるお経のいくつかは単として漢訳され、「小阿含経」というものはされなかった。『小部経典」の集成が他の四部 に比べて遅れたためと考えられるが、このことと経典の内容の新古とは別問題とされる。単として訳された「小部経典』所 収の経典には、「法句経」「法句経」「義経」 などがあるが、いずれもお釈迦さまの口の説法を知るための重要な経典と して、学問的にも重要視される

It’s Shippo. When the Tathagata, Mushosho, and Toshogi Awakening appear in this world, this treasure of the Seven Awakenings (Dharma) will appear in this world.

The Buddha preached as above. The various bhikkhus listened to the Buddha’s sermons, rejoiced, and devoted themselves to their training.

The Buddha compares it to the seven treasures of the wheel-turning king, and says that the Seven Awakenings are the seven treasures of the Tathagata. “As is” means in the same way. Similarly, when the Tathagata, Mushosho, and Toshogaku appear in the world, the Seven Treasures known as the Seven Awakenings will also appear. Tathagata means a person who came from the world of Shinnyo, and is a Buddha. Mushosho is also another name for Buddha. Since the Buddha is not attached to anything, he is said to have no place. The Buddha is said to be free from all attachments because he is free from all attachments. Tosei Awakening is also another name for Buddha, but it means someone who has achieved the unparalleled highest level of righteous enlightenment. The Tathagata, Mushosho, and Toshogaku are all Buddhas.

When the Buddha appears in this world, just as the wheel-turning king obtains the seven treasures, the seven dharma, also known as the seven treasures, will appear in the world.

So, what kind of Dharma is the Buddha’s Seven Treasures, the Seven Gakushu Dharma?

This is a method of training that consists of seven parts: Gakusho Gakusho, Shojin Gakusho, Ki Gakusho, Breathing Gakusho, Jyo Gakusho, and Saku Gakusho.

A detailed explanation of Shichikakushoho is given in my book “Reincarnating Reeds” (Hirakawa Publishing) (see pages 284 and 324), but just in case, I will briefly explain it.

1. Nen Gakusho…The process of strengthening the power of Nen and using that power to gain a sense of space.

Two-choice teaching method…The practice of choosing the true teaching method from among the many religions, beliefs, and philosophies in the world.

3 Seisei…Training to master the teaching method of your choice through single-minded effort and dedication.

4 Kikaku Kakusho: Training to dwell in the joy of acquiring the true teaching method

5 breathing exercises…Training to lighten the mind and body

6 Determined Awakening…Special meditation methods including “extinction” and “four jhanas”

7. Sakukakusho…The practice of letting go of the mind of being obsessed with things and being attached to them.

When a great king called the wheel-turning king appears, seven treasures, including the wheel-treasure, will appear in the world, and the wheel-turning king will use them to unify the world and build a fine world. In the same way, the Buddha said that when the Tathagata appears, the seven dharma, the seven enlightenment laws, will appear, and the Tathagata will save the world with these dharma.

I think this sutra is a kind of prophecy. When I saw this sutra, I had an intuition that it was a prophetic sutra.

What kind of prophecy?

This is a prophecy that the Tathagata will appear in our modern times. I believe that this is a prophecy that the Tathagata will appear in this era in which we live.

Why is this true?

I can give two reasons.

First of all, if the Tathagata does not appear in this era, this world will become extinct. If the Tathagata did not appear now, this world would be destroyed. There is a law of entropy, and even in light of this law, it must be said that the destruction of the earth is in the not-too-distant future. The Tathagata must appear now.

The second reason is that Shichikakusho is now being released into the world through our own hands. Up until now, Japan has been known as a Buddhist country, but most people had never seen or even heard of the Shichikakusho. Although it was already explained in the “Agon Sutra”, the “Agon Sutra” itself was dismissed as a Hinayana sutra and was completely ignored, so the Buddha’s attainment of Buddhism, including the Shichikakusho, was explained. All of the 17 Ways had remained buried, with no one practicing them.

However, with the advent of the Agon sect, the existence of the 37 sects of the Seven Schools spread throughout the world. It is no exaggeration to say that he first appeared in the world after I wrote “Reincarnation.”

He must have learned about the existence of Shakyamuni Buddha’s method of attaining Buddhahood, the Seven Courses and Thirty-Seven Ways, after reading my book, or perhaps after he entered the Agon sect.

But it’s not just you guys. It’s not just you who are laypeople. Even among the very famous Mahayana Buddhist monks and scholars, most of them learned for the first time about the existence of Shakyamuni Buddha’s Seven Courses of Buddhahood after reading my book.

Before the advent of the Agon sect, most of the people were scholars and learned monks who had never studied the Agon Sutra. Many of them were researchers of the Mahayana scriptures. Even when I went to the religious book section of a large bookstore, I found that there were almost no explanatory books on the “A “Sutra.” However, even if I published a research book on the Agon Sutra, I don’t think anyone would buy it.

However, after I established the Agon sect and began to spread the “Agon Sutra” throughout the world, books related to the “Agon Sutra” began to be lined up one after another in the religious books section of large bookstores.

What we can say is that the method of attaining Buddhahood called Shichikakushoho did not appear in the world until after the appearance of the Agon sect. Although it had existed until then, it was not widely known to the public. However, with the emergence of the Agon sect, both the Agon Sutra and the Shichikakusho taught there became known to the public.

As aforementioned,

“When the Tathagata appears, the Seven Awakenings will appear in the world.”

Buddha preached in the Seven Treasure Sutras. Shichikakusho became known to the world through the Agon sect.

I don’t think it’s a coincidence that this happened.

That is the Tathagata.

The world is currently in a state of crisis, and in order to save it from this crisis, the Buddha must appear. The Tathagata must appear. Otherwise, I believe this world will be destroyed.

However, I don’t think this world will be destroyed so easily. If so, something will appear, someone will appear and save this world from destruction. Who will save this world?

So who is this Tathagata?

I believe that the Tathagata is of the Agon sect. The Tathagata is me and you. I believe that I and all of you who are spreading the Buddha’s method of attaining Buddhahood, the Seven Courses and Thirty-Seven Ways, are the Tathagata who will save this world. Those who strive to bring the Dharma of attaining Buddhahood to the world are the Tathagata. Bringing the Buddha’s method of attaining Buddhahood to the world is nothing less than bringing the Buddha into the world. Moreover, by bringing the Buddha into the world, isn’t he also becoming the Tathagata himself?

The world can be saved from destruction by becoming the Tathagata and spreading the Buddha’s method of attaining Buddhahood to this world. I interpret this sutra as such a prophetic sutra.

Although the “Shippo Sutra” is a short sutra, its content is deeply meaningful. We must work hard to make this prophecy a reality. We must acquire the Buddha’s method of attaining Buddhahood and bring it out into the world. Through these merits, we too can attain Buddhahood and become Tathagata in both name and reality. The Buddha is

“All of you should become the Tathagata. Then the world will be saved.”

I feel that He preached this sutra with these feelings in mind.

The Agon Sutra, which teaches such important things, remained buried in Japan without being looked at for over a thousand years. When I think about this, I can’t help but sigh from the bottom of my heart. However, if you think about it, the world up until now may have been in a relatively good era, where the “Agon Sutra” was not so necessary. In the past, it would have been impossible for humans to destroy the Earth. But now it’s different. Even though we have destroyed the Earth many times, humanity still has as many cores as hers. The Agon Sutra may have been preserved precisely in order to save the earth from such a catastrophe. It is also thought that it was carefully stored away in case of an emergency. We have discovered this and are bringing it into the world to save the world. There is no greater Brahma practice than this for him.

We must join hands and make this movement not only within the small framework of a religious movement, but also a large social movement, and strive to save this earth from destruction. – Tsune NakaAgon ・Shippo

Another translation of The Lonely Forest (Jetavana) Small Sutra This is one of the five parts of Bari, the southern Theravada scripture, and consists of 15 minutes. Among the human Brahmins, only Anya Kondanya, the youngest Brahmana, prophesied that Prince Siddadda would emerge and become a Buddha. He was also one of the so-called Five Bhikkhus who accompanied Prince Shadatta to his ordination, and was the first person to become a disciple of the Buddha.

ホモーエクセレンスとは?　　What is Home Excellence?

つまりあたらしい人類だ。

ホモーサピエンスとは、ほかならぬわれわれ自身のことであるが、ホモーエクセレッスとは、どういうヒトか？
ホモーエクセレンスとは、ホモーサピエンスが持だない特別な能力を身につけた「優秀なるヒ
ト」という意味である。ある人たちは、この未来人に、ホモーインテリダンス（聡明なるヒト）と
いう名をつけている。
では、この優秀なる未来人、ホモーエクセレンスは、どういう特殊な能力を持っているのか？
彼の持ついくつかの特長をあげてみよう。
「未来の種属、超・ヒトは、おそらく、三・九という脳発速度係数を持つだろう」
と、世界的に著名な人類学者、パリ大学のジコルジューオリヴィエ教授は、その著「ヒトと進
化、過去現在そして未来」のなかでこう謡りはじめる。
「（こういうきわめてすぐれた生物の能力を、それよりはるかに劣ったわれわれが、あれこれい
うことはできないが）とにかく、この超・ヒトの知的能力は、辛うじて想像することができる。

それは、たとえば、
１　第四次元の理解。
２　複雑な全体をとっさに把握する能力。
３　第六感の獲得。
４　無限に発川した泄徳心識の保有。
５　とくにわれわれの悟性には不可解な精神的な特質。

などである。
わたしは、脳発達度係数三・九をもっ生き物の体のかたちや、すばらしい知能や、われわれにはとうてい理解できない行動がどんなものであるかは、想像力のゆたかな人達にまかせることにする。われわれがメクラであるのに対して、われわれの後継者たちは千里眼の持ち主なから（芦沢玖美訳・みすず書房刊）
と述べている。
オリヴィエ教授は、出版社の紹介文によると″パリ大学理学部人類学教授であり、人類学、解剖学のかず多い論文のほかにいくつかの著書を持ち、そのなかでも「人類学的解剖学」はフランス学士院宣を受けた。自己の専門分野の研究に多くの業績をあげているばかりでなく、若い研究者の育成にも心をそそぎ、フランス人類学の名実ともにすぐれた指導者である″と記されている。
まさに、当代一流の科学者であるといわねばならない。
その科学者が未来人ホモーエクセレンスの出現を、このように予告しているのである。

ここにひとつの技術がある。
その技術によって訓練すると、ヒトはだれでもいくっかのすぐれた力を持つようになる。その力をあげてみよう。

一　極度に発達した知能――いちど目にふれ、いちど耳にしたことは、ぜったいに忘れることのない削憶力。どのように複雑な構造でも組織でも、瞬間的に分析し、推理し、理解して、本質を把握してしまう演鐸と帰納の力。コトバという間接思考を経ない純粋思考から発する超飛躍的な創造力。

Homo sapiens is none other than ourselves, but what kind of person is Homo excelence?
Homo Excellence is an “excellent person” who has acquired special abilities that Homo sapiens does not have.
