The Gate of Breath — Four Divine Footings
夜明け前の 霧の庵（いおり）に
ひとり坐す 若き影
白き吐息 願いを宿し
扉の前で 息を聴く
願え、渇け、道を叩け
その一呼吸に 灯をともせ
覚醒の息が 魂に触れる
神足の道は ここに始まる
Before the dawn, in mist-bound cell,
A silent youth begins to dwell.
White breath bears a longing flame,
He listens where no voice has name.
Desire, thirst, and strike the gate,
Let every breath illuminate.
Awakened breath now stirs the soul,
Here begins the godly goal.
