The Legend of the Medicine Buddha: Three Bodies as One
瑠璃の空に 風ひとすじ
響くは誰ぞ 古の声
癒しの光 心に射して
仏の道へと 我をいざなう
三身一つの 大いなる慈悲よ
法も報いも 応えも今ここに
病む者のそばで 光を与えん
薬師よ 薬師よ 永遠の医王
In the lapis sky, a single breeze flows,
Whose voice echoes from the ancient past?
A healing light pierces the heart,
Guiding me gently to the Buddha’s path.
O boundless compassion, three bodies as one—
The Dharma, the Reward, the Response, all here and now.
Beside the ailing, you shine forth your light,
O Medicine Buddha, eternal King of Healing.
