わたくしのいう霊障とは、単に迷信的な霊の障りではない、四谷怪談のお岩さまのよう
なものを考えてもらっては困るのである。
ともかく、結論としては、因縁のあらわれというのは、霊というものの存在に深いかか
わりがあるということである。ということは、人間それ自体の生の営みに、霊というもの
が、深いかかわりがあるということである。結論をいえば、良き因縁は良き霊の影響、悪
しき因縁は悪しき霊の影響によるものということになる。『チ″ンネルをまわせ』を書い
てから三年の間、わたくしは苦しみ抜いてこのことを考え追求してきた。そうして、つか
んだ成果を、わかりやすく書いたのがこの『守護霊を持て』である。
『続・守護霊を持て』で秘伝の一郎を公開
昭和五十五年（一九八〇年）四月の発行である。
これは、前著『守護霊を持て』をさらに詳しく解がこの本である。
『守護霊を持て』を読んで、実際に霊障の恐ろしさを知ったので、拝み方を教えてほしい、霊障と
なっている不成仏霊を成仏させることは誰にでもできることではないにしても、霊を供養して、霊
障を軽減させることはできるのではないか。そういう手紙がぞくぞくと、わたくしのところにも、
出版社のほうにも、ずいぶん寄せられた。そこで、そういう要望に応えて、秘伝の一部を公開したの『霊障を解く』で、自宗に対するまちがった批判に答える
『守護霊を持て』や『続・守護霊を持て』が出て、守護霊ブームが起こったが、よその教
団が、阿含宗について大変間違った見方をして、的はずれの批判を繰り返しているので、
阿含宗の基本的問題を明らかにして、教団の内外に応えようとしたものである。と同時に、
霊的存在による霊障を一歩進めて解説している。『霊障を解くＩ家運をよくする正しい先祖の
まつり方』が出たのは、昭和五十六年（一九八一年）十二月であった。
