「欲とは、仏道の第一歩だ。
だが煩悩の欲は、己を中心に燃え、
修行の欲は、他を照らすために燃える。」

「……滅するべきではないのですか。」

「滅すれば、歩む力も失う。
仏陀は欲を否定してはいない。
ただ、その方向を正したのだ。」

啓はその夜、久しぶりに瞑想をした。
暗闇の中、胸の奥に小さな炎が見えた。
それは、かつて彼が抱いた純粋な願いの残り火。
――世界を少しでも明るくしたい。
その願いが、まだ消えていなかった。

四　意志の転化

「人は、誰かを照らしたいと願う“欲”に生きる存在だ。

彼の歩みは、まだ続いていた。
――欲神足、第一の炎として。

神足とは、神通力（超人的能力）のことで、この四神足法は、超自然的な神通力を得るための四種の修行法です。

幸せになって、この社会が幸せな世の中になるわけです。高いところから、「日本が平和になるように。この広島がみんな幸せに、安定するように」と言っても、それはかけ声だけじゃないですか。

一人一人、一軒一軒の家庭がよくならなきゃいけない。それには、一人一人、一軒一軒の人たちが、皆この霊的世界に目覚めて、自分たちが霊的な存在と共存しているんだ、密接な関係によってそれは成り立っているんだということを、よく理解するより他にはないんじゃなかろうかと思います。

After completing his training, Shin descends the mountain and returns to town.

Embracing the light of the four divine feet in his heart, he begins to embrace the people with the divine power of compassion.

The mood of the town changes, the wind softens, and people begin to smile again.

This is the moment when the divine feet are revealed to the world as the “power of compassion.”

Chapter 4: Transcending the Cycle of Reincarnation—From the Feet of a God to the Feet of a Buddha

It is a path to spreading the happiness of one person to ten people, and the happiness of ten people to a thousand people.”

The wind caressed his cheek, and children’s laughter echoed from afar.
In a corner of town, workers who had yet to return home were walking under the light of the lamp.
“Master…what can we do to make this society truly happy?”
The young man’s voice was trembling.

“The world will not change just by chanting ‘peace’ from above.

Prayer is important. But for prayer to take root on the earth,

a light must light in each and every home and heart.

Every household must awaken spiritually —

That is the foundation of true peace.”

“We live alongside spiritual beings.

Life circulates, supported by invisible bonds.

But right now, this Earth is covered in the karma of heavy spiritual interference.

Human greed, anger, and ignorance have become a thick darkness that seals off the earth.

If things continue like this, it would not be surprising if the Earth were to be destroyed tomorrow…”

The young man held his breath.

In the silence, the wind blowing across the hills whispered, like the voices of unseen beings.

The old monk looked up at the night sky and smiled.

“That is why we must walk the path of the Four Divine Feet.

Refine your mind, dwell in light, and become those who illuminate the world from beneath your feet.

Do not seek miracles. Become a miracle.”

At that moment, the city lights shone even brighter.

It was like a prayer to break the darkness.

Chapter 3: Light Healing the Earth – A Fusion of Compassion and Divine Power

The cherry blossoms at the mountain temple had fallen, and petals were drifting toward the village on the wind.

The young man, Shin, left his mentor and quietly made his way down the street.

People were so busy that they walked without looking one another in the eye.

A light slowly spread from deep within his chest.

It was invisible, but it was certainly a warm light—the divine power of compassion.

The pain in the shoulder of an elderly man he passed by eased.

A child who had been crying in front of the station began to laugh in his mother’s arms.

People’s eyes suddenly looked up to the sky, and they remembered the gentleness of the wind.

None of these were miracles.

Simply, it was a moment when people’s hearts were reconnected as “one.”

“Supernatural powers are not something you control with your own strength.
When you surrender yourself to mercy, the universe will respond.”
The teacher’s voice echoed quietly in his chest.

Shin clasped his hands and closed his eyes as if in prayer.
A ring of light flickered in the sky above the city.
No one could see it, but he definitely felt the “earth energy” shift.

“The world is still shrouded in suffering.

Chapter 4: Transcending Reincarnation – From Divine Feet to Buddha’s Feet

On a moonlit night, Shin returned to the mountains.
The wind blew through the temple grounds where he once trained with his master, and the rustling of cedar leaves echoed through the grounds.
As he passed through the temple gate, he felt as if he were standing there again.

His younger self, filled with confusion and walking simply in search of salvation.

“O you who have mastered the four divine feet.

So, what do you see beyond that?”

A familiar voice echoed through the wind.

His teacher was nowhere to be seen.

But the voice was definitely there.

“Supernatural powers are not the end.

It is merely the entrance to the path.

From the feet of a god to the feet of a Buddha—
Those who truly walk the path will transcend themselves.”

Shin closed his eyes.

In the silence, his own heart was reflected.

Light and darkness, sadness and joy, all melted into one flow.

He once sought an external power.

But now he knew.

“Supernatural powers” mean entrusting oneself to the flow of the universe.

And “Buddha’s feet” means becoming that flow itself.

Contemplation reached the sky, diligence reached the light, the mind reached nothingness, observation reached the whole.

But in his wake, a small lotus flower bloomed.
Unseen by anyone, it simply bathed in the moonlight.

–From divine feet to Buddha’s feet.
The cycle of reincarnation ends, and the path continues forever.

And so, someone else begins to walk that path.

Carrying light, one who illuminates the darkness.

Chapter 2: Overcoming the Karma of Spiritual Harm – The Four Divine Foot Practise

A mountain temple before dawn.

A single light burns in the fog.

In front of that light, the young man, Shin, sits.

Putting his palms together, he quietly regulates his breathing.

“Thoughtfulness is the art of walking—deciding on one’s will; everything begins from there.”

The words of his mentor suddenly cross his mind.

The power to change the world is not some distant god or a miracle in the sky.

It is the “will to change” that lies within oneself.

Shin lets out a long, slow sigh.
Thoughtfulness is the art of walking—the arrow of the heart pierces one’s doubts.

Soon, the sound of a bird’s song echoes, cutting through the fog.

Shin opens his eyes.

He begins his next training—shojin shintoku.

“Train your mind with your body,” his master said.

Running up the slope in the morning, splitting firewood, carrying water.

He considers all of this to be “practice,” taking each step with precision.

Sweat is the dew of worldly desires, pain is the fire that cuts off karma.

The waves of the mind are reflected in the movements of his body.

“Don’t stop. Stopping will call forth darkness.”

The old monk’s voice echoes like a distant bell.

Late in the afternoon, sitting in the shadow of the mountain gate, Shin moves on to the next stage.

“Shinshinsoku” — training to unify and clarify the mind itself.

Countless thoughts pass by like the wind.

Memories of the past, anxieties about the future, the voices of people, the noise of the city.

All of them simply return to the “sky.”

Deep in his heart, a light lights up.

That light eventually spreads out, as if to envelop the world’s sorrow.

“All existence is connected by spiritual threads.
Someone’s suffering is my suffering.
Someone’s salvation is my salvation.”

That was the fourth training – the realization of Kansatsu Shintaku.
Observation is not about seeing.
It is about “seeing through.”
It is about erasing the boundary between “the observer” and “the observed.”

In that moment, the world before Shin’s eyes changed.
The leaves of the trees breathed, the stones spoke, the wind prayed.
Everything was painting a mandala of life.

The karma of spiritual disturbance – it was not the darkness outside.
The shadows of separation and indifference that arise in people’s hearts.
The only way to overcome it is for one person’s heart to shine.

The words of his master resonated in his heart once again.

“Do not seek a miracle. Become one.”

Shin stood up.
Beyond the fog, the morning sun rose.
A golden light enveloped the mountain, and the world was given new life.

『四神足の書――光を歩む者たち』

序章　光を歩む者

地球を覆う霊障のカルマ。
平和を願う声が空を満たしても、人々の心には闇が残る。
老僧と青年の対話を通して、“真の平和”が外からではなく、
一人一人の覚醒によってしか成り立たないことが語られる。
ここから、四神足の道が静かに始まる。

第一章　四神足の道 ――地を照らす者

丘に立つ老僧が語る、神足とは何か。
それは奇跡を起こすための力ではなく、
人を幸せへと導くための「心の練行」である。
青年は師の言葉に導かれ、修行の誓いを立てる。
「奇跡を求めるな。奇跡となれ。」
この一言が、彼の旅の始まりとなった。

第二章　霊障のカルマを超えて ――四神足の行

山寺での修行。
思惟・精進・心・観察――四つの神足を体験として会得していく青年シン。
彼は“意志の矢”を放ち、“精進の火”を灯し、“心の鏡”を澄ませ、“観察の光”で世界を照らす。
やがて、すべての現象が“空”としてひとつに溶け合う。
そこに現れるのは、外界の奇跡ではなく、内なる静寂の力だった。

第三章　地を癒す光 ――慈悲と神通の融合

修行を終えたシンは、山を下りて街へ戻る。
そこには、疲れた人々と濁った空気。
彼は四神足の光を胸に、慈悲の神通をもって人々を包み始める。
触れずとも癒す。語らずとも伝わる。
街の気が変わり、風が柔らかくなり、人々が微笑みを取り戻していく。
神足が“慈悲の力”として世界に顕れる瞬間だった。

第四章　輪廻を超える者 ――神足より仏足へ

再び山に戻ったシンは、師の声を心に聴く。
「神通は終わりではない。神の足より、仏の足へ。」
四神足は、最終的に「無我」の光へと還る。
己を超え、世界とひとつになるとき、
修行者はもはや“行者”ではなく、“道そのもの”となる。
輪廻を超え、慈悲そのものとして歩み続ける存在へ――。

終章　光は継がれてゆく

山のふもと、朝の村に一人の子どもが立っていた。
彼はシンの残した小さな経巻を拾い、空を見上げる。
「この道を、歩いてみたい。」
その瞬間、風がやさしく吹き、桜の花びらが舞う。
光は、絶えることなく継がれていく。

四神足の道 ――地を照らす者

夕暮れの丘に立ち、老いた僧は静かに手を合わせた。
遠くに広がる街の灯が、まるで無数の魂の灯火のように瞬いている。

「神足とは、ただ奇跡を起こす力ではないのだよ」
そう語る声は、やわらかく、しかし地の底に響くように深かった。

「四神足とは、心の tapas（練行）だ。
思惟（意欲）、精進、心、観察――この四つを極めることで、
人は己の限界を越え、神通の境地に至る。
だがそれは、世を驚かせる力を得るためではない。
ひとりの幸福を、十人へ。十人の幸福を、千人へと波及させるための道なのだ。」

弟子の青年は、師の言葉を黙って聴いていた。
風が頬を撫で、遠くから子どもの笑い声が響く。
街の片隅では、まだ帰れぬ労働者たちが灯りの下で歩いている。
「師よ……どうすれば、この社会が本当に幸せになるのでしょう？」
青年の声は震えていた。

老僧は目を閉じ、ゆっくりと応えた。

「上から『平和を』と唱えるだけでは、世は変わらぬ。
祈りは大切だ。だが、祈りが地に根づくためには、
一人ひとりの家に、心に、灯がともらねばならぬ。
すべての家庭が、霊的に目覚めること――
それが真の平和の礎なのだ。」

彼は地を見つめる。
「我々は霊的存在と共に生きている。
見えぬ絆に支えられ、命は循環している。
だが、今この地球は重い霊障のカルマに覆われている。
人の欲と怒りと無明が、厚い闇となって大地を閉ざしている。
このままでは、地球が明日にでも壊滅しても不思議ではない……」

青年は息を呑んだ。
その沈黙の中、丘を渡る風が、まるで見えぬ者たちの声のように囁く。

老僧は、夜空を見上げ、微笑した。

「だからこそ、我らが四神足の道を歩まねばならぬ。
心を練り、光を宿し、足もとから世界を照らす者となれ。
奇跡を求めるな。奇跡となれ。」

その瞬間、街の灯が一段と輝きを増し

た。
まるで、闇を破る祈りのように。
第三章　地を癒す光 ――慈悲と神通の融合

季節は春。
山寺の桜が散り、花びらが風に乗って里へと流れていた。
青年シンは、師のもとを離れ、静かに街へと降りていった。

そこはかつて彼が暮らしていた町。
人々は忙しさに追われ、互いの目を見ずに歩いている。
声を交わしても、心が触れ合うことは少なかった。
街の空気には、見えない疲れと淀みが漂っていた。

――師の言葉が甦る。
「霊障のカルマとは、人の無関心が積み重なった影だ。」

シンは歩道の片隅に座り、深く息を吸いこんだ。
その呼吸は、四神足で鍛えた“神足の呼吸”。
息の流れに合わせ、意志（思惟）、精進（努力）、心（統一）、観察（理解）の四つが一体となる。

やがて、街の喧噪が遠のき、世界が静止したように感じられた。
光が、彼の胸の奥からゆっくりと広がっていく。
それは目に見えぬが、確かに温かい光――慈悲の神通。

すれ違う老人の肩の痛みが、やわらぐ。
駅前で泣いていた子どもが、母の腕の中で笑い出す。
人々の目がふと空を見上げ、風のやさしさを思い出す。
そのどれもが、奇跡ではない。
ただ、人の心が“ひとつ”へと結び直されていく瞬間だった。

「神通とは、己の力で動かすものではない。
慈悲に身を委ねたとき、宇宙が応える。」
師の声が、胸の内で静かに響いた。

シンは両手を合わせ、祈るように目を閉じた。
街の上空に、光の環が揺らめく。
それは誰の目にも見えなかったが、確かに“地の気”が変わるのを彼は感じた。
冷たい風がやさしく変わり、人々の声が少し穏やかになった。

大地の奥から、無数の魂が立ち上がり、互いの手を取り合っている。
誰もが光を抱き、微笑んでいた。
その中心に、かつての師が立っていた。

「シンよ、これが四神足の果（さち）だ。
修行は己のためではなく、地を癒すためにある。
神通とは、慈悲が形を得たもの。
その光を絶やすな――」

目を覚ますと、窓の外に朝日が昇っていた。
街の屋根が金色に輝き、鳥たちが歌っている。

シンは静かに立ち上がり、手を合わせた。

「世界はまだ、苦しみに覆われている。
けれど、ひとつの心が光れば、そこから救いは広がる。
それを信じて歩もう。地を癒す者として。」

そして彼は再び歩き出した。
四神足の光を胸に、
新しい時代へ、祈りと共に。

第四章　輪廻を超える者 ――神足より仏足へ

月明かりの夜、シンは山へと帰ってきた。
かつて師とともに修行した寺の境内には、風が通い、杉の葉が鳴っている。
山門をくぐると、あの頃の自分がそこに立っているような気がした。
迷いに満ち、ただ救いを求めて歩いていた、若き日の自分。

「四神足を極めし者よ。
さて、その先に何を見るか。」

懐かしい声が、風の中から響いた。
師の姿はどこにもない。
だが、声は確かにそこにあった。

「神通は終わりではない。
それは道の入口に過ぎぬ。
神の足より、仏の足へ――
真に歩む者は、己を超えてゆく。」

シンは目を閉じた。
静寂の中、己の心が映し出されていく。
光も闇も、悲しみも喜びも、すべてが一つの流れに溶け合っていた。
かつては外なる力を求めた。
だが今、彼は知る。
“神通”とは宇宙の流れに己を委ねること。
そして“仏足”とは、その流れそのものになること。

呼吸が深く、長く、時を越えていく。
思惟は空へ、精進は光へ、心は無へ、観察は全へ――
四神足が解け、一つの輪が静かに閉じた。

その瞬間、天地のあいだに音が消えた。
山も、風も、月も、すべてが彼の中に在った。
彼はもはや「見る者」ではなく、「見られるもの」でもなかった。
ただ、存在そのものが“慈悲”となっていた。

やがて、遠くの村の灯がちらちらと瞬き始めた。
その光は、まるで命の鼓動のように温かかった。
シンは立ち上がり、山道をゆっくりと下りていく。

彼の足跡は、泥に沈み、やがて消えていく。
だが、その跡から、小さな蓮の花が咲いた。
誰が見るでもなく、ただ静かに、月光を受けて。

――神足より仏足へ。
輪廻は終わり、道は永遠に続いている。

そしてその道を、また誰かが歩き始めるのだ。
光を携え、闇を照らす者として。

第二章　霊障のカルマを超えて ――四神足の行

夜明け前の山寺。
霧の中に、一本の灯がともっている。
その光の前に、青年シンは座していた。
掌を合わせ、静かに息を整える。

「思惟神足――意志を定めること、そこからすべてが始まる」
師の言葉が、ふと胸をよぎる。

世界を変える力は、遠い神でも、空の奇跡でもない。
それは、己の内にある “変わろうとする意志” だ。
シンはゆっくりと、吐息を長く流す。
思惟神足――心の矢が、迷いを貫く。

やがて、鳥の声が霧を裂くように響いた。
シンは瞼を開けた。
次の修行――精進神足に入る。

「身体をもって、心を鍛えよ」
師は言った。

朝の斜面を駆け、薪を割り、水を運ぶ。
そのすべてを「行」として、彼は一歩ずつ踏みしめる。
汗は煩悩の露、痛みは業を断つ火。
肉体の動きの中に、心の波が映る。
「止まるな。立ち止まることが、闇を呼ぶ。」
老僧の声が、遠い鐘のように響く。

昼下がり、山門の影に座したシンは、次の段階へと進む。
「心神足」――心そのものを統一し、澄みきらせる修行。

無数の想念が、風のように過ぎてゆく。
過去の記憶、未来への不安、人々の声、街の騒音。
それらがすべて、ただ「空」に還っていく。

心の奥に、光がひとつ灯る。
その光はやがて、世界の悲しみを包むように広がっていった。

「すべての存在は、霊的な糸で結ばれている。
誰かの苦しみは、私の苦しみ。
誰かの救いは、私の救い。」

それが、四つ目の修行――観察神足の悟りだった。
観察とは、見ることではない。
“見抜く” こと。
“観る者”と“観られるもの”の境を消すこと。

その瞬間、シンの眼に映る世界が変わった。
木々の葉が呼吸し、石が語り、風が祈っている。
あらゆるものが、いのちの曼荼羅を描いているのだ。

霊障のカルマ――それは外の闇ではない。
人々の心に生まれる分離と無関心の影。
それを超えるには、ひとりの心が光を放つしかない。

師の言葉が、再び胸に響いた。

「奇跡を求めるな。奇跡となれ。」

シンは立ち上がった。
霧の向こうで、朝日が昇る。
金色の光が山を包み、世界が新たな息を吹き返した。
