三福道
The Three Roots of Virtue

Blessings never come by chance — they sprout from virtue’s seed.
Mere desire cannot bind them, nor longing bring them near.
Without virtue, fortune fades, and sorrow holds its reign.
But those who plant true merit shall harvest endless joy.

Before the Tathāgata — sow the seeds of merit.
Within the Dharma’s light — sow the seeds of merit.
Amid the noble Sangha — sow the seeds of merit.
The Three Roots of Virtue — the path of true bliss.
