薬師如来

お釈迦さまの時代にも疫病のパッデミックが起こり、
お釈迦さまが五色の光明を放たれて偶頌やご真言を唱えることで、そのパッデ
ミックが終息しております。

お釈迦さまの衆生救済の姿という姿を表したものが薬師如来: Bhaiṣajyaguruであります。

です。万能の薬です。

釈尊の別名のその四つの徳を「一には善く病を知り、二には善く病源を知り、三には善く病の対治を知り、四には善く治病を知る」とあります。
