十三仏と対応する裁判官[編集]
これらの仏は審理において実際の裁判所における裁判官の役目を勤めることになるとされる。

死亡した時を1日目として数え、初七日は命日から7日目（6日後）である。他の日数・年数も（一周忌以外は）全て同様である（関西地方では、逮夜などと称してそれぞれの忌日の前日ないし前晩に重きを置いて法要を務めるところも多い）。
Thirteen Buddha
The Thirteen Buddhas are the 13 Buddhas (to be exact, Buddha and Bodhisattva) involved in the trial of the underworld, which were conceived in Japan since the Muromachi period, based on the Ten Kings. It is also known as the Buddha who controls the thirteenth memorial service (first seven days to thirty-third anniversary), and the custom of decorating the paintings mainly on the hanging scroll in all Buddhist rituals including the memorial service is transmitted.

The time of death is counted as the first day, and the first seven days are the seventh day (six days later) from the date of death. The other days and years are all the same (except for the first anniversary) (in the Kansai region, there are many places that place importance on the day before or the night before each anniversary, such as arrest nights).
