Sigmund Freud made a significant contribution to psychology by analyzing individuals’ unconscious layers. Later, Carl Gustav Jung focused on the collective unconscious (group psychology). Then, Wolfgang Luthe studied the area of the unconscious that lies between these two layers, called the familial unconscious.
