[仏像の見分け方]不空羂索観音と准胝観音
仏像の見分け方シリーズです。
今日は、不空羂索観音（ふくうけんさくかんのん）と准胝観音（じゅんていかんのん）
は？
そりゃまたマイナーな
正直、マイナーなので2つまとめていっちゃいましょう。
六観音の話をしました。
観音様は六道という六つの世界のそれぞれを
色んな観音様が担当している。
読んでいただているみなさんは、人間です。
私もそうです。
人道担当の観音様だけ拝んでおけば良いはず
その人道担当が不空羂索観音と准胝観音
何でふたつかというと
宗派によって違うから。
天台宗系だと不空羂索観音
真言宗系だと准胝観音になります。
不空羂索観音
以外に、この不空羂索観音、歴史が古く
日本に登場したのが
十一面観音に続いて二番目
数もかなり多く作られています。
「不空」とは「むなしからず」、「羂索」は鳥獣等を捕らえる縄のこと。
「心念不空の索をもってあらゆる衆生をもれなく救済する観音」

見分け方
・羂索を持つ
・三つ目八臂
・鹿皮をまとう
腕は8本です
手には当然、羂索を持っています
目が3個
第三の眼は眉間に縦向きについています。
豪華ですね。
シカの毛皮を身に纏っています。
羂索で鹿捕まえたんでしょうか。
おそらくその時寒かったんでしょう。
子供を思う気持ちの強い鹿のように、人々を思ってくれます。
ご利益
不空羂索観音には20のご利益があるとされています。ただし、これらの利益を得るための正式な拝み方があります。
毎月８日に行動や飲食を慎んで心身を正常にした上で、不空羂索観音の真言を唱え続け無ければなりません。
・病気をしなくなる
・病気にかかってもすぐ治る
・体がつややかになり、肌がきめが細かく柔らかくなる
・多くの人から敬愛され身を守られる
・財宝を得る
・財宝を盗まれない
・水や火の災難に遭わない
・国王により身を害されることがない
・事業で失敗しない
・植えた農作物に天候や害虫の被害が無い
・真言を唱えればすべての災難が消える
・悪鬼などに精気を奪われない
・恨みに畏れなくなる
・恨みが解消する
・他人や鬼神に畏れなくなり、呪いや邪気による害も無い
・すべての煩悩が消える
・火・刀・薬の災難では死なない
・諸天善神の加護を受ける
・どこに輪廻転生しても慈悲喜捨を忘れない
准胝観音
准胝観音は不空羂索観音以上にマイナーです
准胝とは清浄を意味します。
元々は水の浄化の働きにより清浄をもたらしてくれる女神でした
実は准胝観音は観音様ではなかったんです
准胝観音は七倶胝仏母（しちぐていぶつぼ）という別名を持っています。
観音様ではなく、全ての菩薩の母という仏様でした。
真言宗はこのお母さんを観音様として加えた

見分け方
・手が18本
・目が3つある
・頭上に仏面は無い
・蓮の花や水瓶（すいびょう）を持つ
目は、不空羂索観音と同じです。
手はグッと増えましたね
ここまで増えると、千手観音と紛らわしくなります。
目が3つというところで千手観音と見分けましょう
不空羂索観音もそうですが
多くのの観音様の頭上には阿弥陀如来が刻まれていることが多くあります。
目標とする仏様、化仏（けぶつ）と言います。
ところが
准胝観音は元は観音様ではなかったため、
化仏はありません
これも見分けるポイントですね
持っているのは蓮の花や水瓶
泥の中から花を開かせる蓮の花は清浄な世界を象徴し、
阿弥陀如来や観音菩薩のいる極楽で咲き乱れているとされています。
水瓶には功徳水と言われる有難い水が入っています。
ご利益
全ての菩薩のお母さんだったので
安産・子宝がご利益になります。
醍醐天皇は跡取りとして子供を授かりたいと祈願したところ、
2人の男の子を授かることができたそうです。
あと、准胝観音の真言を毎日108回唱えると
寿命を最高で21年伸ばすことができます。

Benefits
Fukū-in Temple Kannon is said to have 20 benefits. However, there is a formal way of worshiping to get these benefits.
On the 8th of every month, you must refrain from acting, eating and drinking, and after normalizing your mind and body, continue to chant the mantra of Fukū-in Temple Kannon.
・ Stop getting sick
・ Even if you get sick, you will be cured immediately
・ The body becomes glossy and the skin becomes fine and soft.
・ Being loved and protected by many people
・ Get treasure
・ Treasure is not stolen
・ Do not suffer from water or fire disasters
・ No harm to the king
・ Do not fail in business
・ No damage to the planted crops due to weather or pests
・ If you say the mantra, all the disasters will disappear
・ Do not be deprived of energy by evil spirits
・ Don’t be afraid of resentment
・ Resolve resentment
・ No more fear of others or demons, no harm from curses or evil spirits
・ All worldly desires disappear
・ Do not die in the disaster of fire, sword, and medicine

Cundi Kannon
Cundi Kannon is more minor than Fukū-in Temple Kannon
Cundi means cleanliness.
Originally, it was a goddess who brought cleanliness by purifying water.
Actually, Cundi Kannon was not Kannon-sama.
Cundi Kannon has another name, Shichigu Tebutsubo.
It was not Kannon, but a Buddha who was the mother of all Bodhisattvas.
Shingon Buddhism added this mother as Kannon

Amida Nyorai is often engraved on the heads of many Kannon-sama.
The target Buddha is called Kebutsu.

The water bottle contains a thankful water called merit water.
