　　「恋愛・友情・職業・疾病および死亡における選択の分析にもとづいて、選択の根源はこの家族的欲求」

　つまり、ひとの、恋愛、友情、職業、病気、死にかたまで、すべて、それらを決定するのは、そのひとのこころの深奥にひそんでいる祖先の抑圧された意識である、というのである。

　これは、個人の運命を形成するこれらの選択行動は、意識的・理性的な考慮の上に立つ決断にょって決定されるのではなく、（もちろん表面的にはそれがなされるが、実際には）選択行動は衝動行為であり、衝動的に選択する無意識的なものによって動かされるのだということである。（ここまではフロイトもほとんどおなじである。フロイトとちがうのは、その衝動が、その宗族－祖先－にふかい関連、かおるというのである

人はどんな因縁を持つか

これから、人の持つ因縁について解説するが、それでは、そういう母縁というものが、どうして人間にあるのか、ここでは、あるからある、というよりほかない。強いて聞かれるならば、それならあなたはどうしてそういう顔をしているのであるか寸９　かれた場合、あなた

○家運衰退の因縁　

この因縁は、家運、つまり家の運気が次第におとろえてきている家系に生まれている人が持つ因縁である。

こういう人は、父、あるいは祖父の代までは、かなりの生活をした家に生まれている人が多い。祖父か父の代あたりから、次第に家運が傾いてきている。そうして、自分の代になってからは、なお一層はっきりと運が悪くなっている。相当の力量、才能、手腕があるのだが、

それを発揮する場を持つこと、が出来ない。そういうチャンスを持つことが出来ない。そうして、自分よりも劣った者が追い越してゆくのを、みすみす歯ぎしりしながら見送ることになる。

たまにチャンスがめぐって来そうになると、人の妨害、邪魔に遭ったり、或いは自分の思わぬミスや病気などで、せっかくのチャンスを失ってしまう。要するに、二昌でいうと運、か悪いのである。実力がありな、がら、妙にめぐり合わせが悪く、ウダツがあがらない。年をとるほど運気がおとろえ、生活が悪くなっていく。
