筋肉 の相乗作用である。 しかし、呼吸も筋肉も意念(潜在意識もふくめて)の支配下にあるのであるか ら、究極的には、「意念」だということになる。

そんなことはわかりきったことで、それを承知の上でなぜ、意念・呼吸・筋肉 とならべたのか?

それは、意念を使う上で、どうしても、呼吸の力を借りなければならぬからで

ある。

それはどうしてか? 意念を「行らす」ためである。 意念は行らさなければならぬのである。 行息―息を行らすならば、行道行らす道がなければならぬのである。 これが非常に重大なのである。 呼吸は、意念をめぐらすために、重大なはたらきをする。いや、それこそが最 も重大な、というべきであろう。

さきほど、わたくしは「安那般那念経」を、古来いわれているように、「数息 観」のような呼吸法を説いたものではない、といったのは、ここのところである。

仏陀の法

チャクラが生む奇蹟

クンダリニー・ヨーガが超常的能力を生み出す源泉は、「チャクラ」である。

クンダリニー・ヨーガは三〇〇〇年の歴史を持つ。

そんなにも古い時代に、クンダリニー・ヨーガは、人間のからだの中に、七カ所の「力の湧き出る泉」を発見し、この泉を自由に制御して、超人的能力を発生させる技術をつくり出した。そうして、この「力の湧き出る泉」を「チャクラ」と名づけた。
チャクラとは、どういう意味か?

英国、およびアメリカ、インドに本拠を持つ神智学協会発行のThe Chakras” の中で、リードビーターは、それを “Force Center” と訳している。力の中心」である。そうして、つぎのように解説している。

「Chakra という語はサンスクリット語で、輪を意味し、文学的な表現をすれば、*法の輪の回転』である」

また、べつなヨーロッパのヨーガの指導者は「幅」であるといっている。

わたくしの考えは、この方に近い。

しかし、これを、輸といったり!といってしまったらまちがいであって、それは、車輪の中心から八方に放射状に出ている支柱、すなわち輻には似ているけれども、幅そのものではなく、また輪でもなく、幅の状態なのである。すなわち、放射状の波動、

それは、もの、そのものではなく、もの、の状態を示すもので、それは、力をあらかしているのである。それは、ある刺激によってひとつの力が生じた状態なのである。

その状態が、輻のように放射されたかたちをとっているわけだ。それは、力が充実したとき、さまざまな色をともなって、かすかに光ってみえる。
ルに似ているが、オーラは、チャクラのように多彩な色を発しない。

チャクラが、どうして、超人的ともいうべき特殊な力を発生するのか?

長い間、それは神秘的な謎とされていたが、近代生理学の登場によって、その謎は解けた。
チャクラの場所は、すべて、内分泌腺と一致するのである。

クンダリニー・ヨーガの熟達者は、特殊な修行によって得た力でその場所を刺激し、ふつうの人間の持たない力を発生させるのである。内分泌腺がその力の発生源なのである。

但し、この、チャクラと近代医学の解剖学的対照は、わたくしの修行体験によってわたくしが分類したもので、欧米のヨーガの指導者たち(およびその系統の人たち)の対照分類のしかたと、大分ちがうところがある。わたくしは、私の修行体験によっ
て、このほうが正しいと信じているが、あるいは、これはリードビーター氏がいっているように、人種、民族別による体格、体質の相違によるものであるのかもしれぬ。

氏は、その著書のなかで、チャクラの大小、色彩、位置、形状、など、有色、白色、東洋、西洋の民族、人種の相違によってかなり違うものがあり、また、おなじ民族、人種でも、多少の個人差が見られる、と述べている。

女性が持つ因縁である。

この句の意味は、亭主が年中病弱で寝ている、その家をたずねてみると、亭主の寝ている次の部屋で、若い美しい細君が、甲斐々々しく薬を煎じている。しかし実際は、この美しい細君が病身の亭主にとっては毒なのだ、というところから、細君が薬を煎じているのを、毒が薬を、と皮肉っているわけである。

この因縁を持つ女性を妻に持つと、その夫は年中病弱となるか、または仕事がうまくいかず、年中失敗したり、渋滞しがちとなる。生命力を削られるところから、運が非常に悪くなるのである。いかに才能、手腕があろうとも、必ず何か一つの不運につきまとわれる。細君が∵心につかえればつかえるほど、夫の運気が悪くなるのであるから厄介である。

世間によくあることだが、立派な細君を待った夫が、他に女性を作り、その女性よりも細君のほうがはるかに容色も頭もすぐれているので人が不思議がる例がある。これは、細君のほうに、この、夫の運気を剋害する因縁があるために、夫が、生命力自衛の本能から、

どんな因縁を持つか中年になってそういうことがよく起こるのは、もちろん、中年代で経済的に余裕が出来た
り、細君の容色が衰えてきたということも理由の一つにμなるが、根本的には、若いうちは、
夫のほうも生命力がつよいので妻の運気剋害にも平気で耐えられているから、それほど感じ
ないが、年をとるにつれて生命力が弱り、憩いの場が欲しくなってくるのである。
この因縁の強いものをもつ女性が、いわゆる「後家運」と呼ばれるもので、色情の因縁の
ある夫は、前記したように他の女性に逃避し、色情の因縁のない夫は、趣味に逃避したり、
仕事に没頭したりして、冷たい家庭となる。
もし、生命力の弱い夫であったら、死んでしまう。すなわち、後家運と呼ばれる所以である。女性としてしあわせな家庭を持とうと思ったら、まず切らばならぬ因縁である。

夫婦縁、結婚生活に障害が起きる因縁である。なんとなくお互いに性格が合わず、年中不満を持ちあってゴタゴタが絶えず、冷たい家庭になる。

または、お互いに愛情はあるのだが、どちらかが病気になって別居をよぎなくされる、とか、仕事の関係で別れ別れに住むことになる。シュウトなどの関係で夫婦仲がうまくいかぬ、など、とにかく、愛情の有無にかかわらず、結果的に夫婦仲がうまくいかない。離婚してしうままうというところまではいかぬが、とにかく、年中その一歩手前までいってゴタゴタしていまう。
