Oath of the Eastern Pure Land
紫雲裂きゆく 光の剣
煩悩を断ちて 誓いを刻む
透明な肋に 梵字が灯る
鏡の心に 蓮が咲く
オン・アキシュビヤ・ウン──
炎よ慈悲となりて舞え
罪と苦の影を照らし
我は不動 東方の如来
Piercing purple clouds, the sword of light
Cuts through delusion, carving a vow
On crystal ribs, the sacred script glows
In the mirror-heart, a lotus blooms
On Akshobhya Hum──
Let fire become mercy and dance
Illuminate the shadows of sin and pain
I am unshaken—the Tathāgata of the East
