カーツワイル博士の未来年表
そんな博士、2013年の段階で2038年までの未来予測をしていまして、今日はそれをかいつまみながら、博士の頭の中を覗いてみようと思います。
年代ごとに区切ってみていきます。元の年表はもう少し細かい年表ですが、そこは時期があっているか、ということより、どんなことがありそうか、という視点でざっくりと、ということで。
2020〜2025年の世界
・5Gネットワークが世界中の携帯電話に10〜100GBの通信スピードを開放する
・AIベースの医療診断とセラピーの助言が、米国の主要な医療機関で利用される
・空飛ぶクルマの運転が世界の中のいくつかの都市ではじまる
・合法的に全米を自動運転によって移動できるようになる
・ロボットは中産階級の家庭に当たり前のように設置され、唇の動きや顔、口、手のジェスチャーをかなりの精度をもって理解できるようになる
・ドローンが1日に1000万機くらい飛ぶ。マンションの屋上に荷物を届け、待機しているロボットが玄関の前まで持っていく
・世界の9割の国で火力発電所より、太陽光・風力発電所のほうが割安になる
・炭素排出量がピークを超えたことが見えるようになる
AIが染み渡り、自動運転、ドローンが当たり前になってきます。ドドルあおけんとしては、ドローンがもたらすロジスティクスの効率化というところはとても興味があります。
また、SDGｓの要であるエネルギー問題が自然エネルギーにシフトして改善に向かう流れの予測は、希望を見い出すのが難しいこの世界に刺す一筋の光ですね。
2026〜2030年の世界
・クルマを所有しなくなり、道路を走るのはすべて自動運転車になる
・LA、東京、サンパウロ、ロンドンなど大都市では、毎日10万人の人々が垂直離着陸機で通勤するようになる
・VRがいたるところで存在。子どもたちが常に別の世界に行ってしまっていることに親は不満をもつようになる。VRによって観光名所に行った気になるため、つかれる旅行を避けるようになり、旅行が減り始める。
・太陽光と風力は新しい電気発電において100％近くを占める
・ロボットはヒトと本当の関係性をもつ。老齢介護やパーソナルケア、食事の用意などの分野で特にその傾向が強く出る。セックスロボットも普及する。
VRとロボットの普及でリアルな場所、リアルなヒトである必要がだんだんなくなっていきそうです。セックスロボットまで普及しちゃうと、面倒な人間関係を避けて一気に出生率は低下しちゃいそうですね。
2031〜2038年の世界
・AIが人間の知能と同等かそれ以上になってくる
・人類は富裕層の寿命回避速度に達する（たぶんお金があればテクノロジーの力で寿命をがんがん伸ばせるってことなんだと思います）
・医療用ナノロボットが人体の中で実証され、免疫系を拡張することができるようになる
・すべてのヒトが意識をアバターロボットを使って世界中の遠隔地へテレポートさせることができるようになる
・多くの超困難な問題（例えば癌や貧困）は解決する
困難がなくなり、寿命が長くなる。いいことですね。苦しくてもあと15年、20年がんばって生き抜けば、ユートピアになるから、がんばって、という博士の人類に対するエールのようにも思えます。
Dr. Kurzweil’s Future Chronology
Such a doctor is predicting the future up to 2038 at the stage of 2013, and today I will take a peek inside his head while grasping it.
I will try to divide by age. The original chronology is a little more detailed, but it’s a rough idea from the perspective of what is likely to happen, rather than whether the time is right.
World from 2020 to 2025
・ 5G network opens communication speed of 10 to 100GB to mobile phones all over the world
・ AI-based medical diagnosis and therapy advice will be used by major US medical institutions
・ Flying car driving begins in some cities around the world
・ It will be possible to legally move the United States by autonomous driving
・ Robots will be installed as a matter of course in middle-class homes, and will be able to understand lip movements and gestures of the face, mouth, and hands with considerable accuracy.
・ About 10 million drones fly a day. Deliver luggage to the roof of the condominium and the waiting robot will bring it to the front of the entrance
・ Solar and wind power plants are cheaper than thermal power plants in 90% of the world
・ It becomes possible to see that carbon emissions have exceeded the peak.
AI will permeate, and autonomous driving and drones will become commonplace. As Dodol Aoken, I am very interested in the efficiency of logistics brought about by drones.
Also, predicting the flow of energy problems, which are the core of the SDGs, shifting to renewable energy and improving them is a ray of light that pierces this world where it is difficult to find hope.
World from 2026 to 2030
・ No longer own a car, and all driving on the road will be self-driving cars
・ In big cities such as LA, Tokyo, São Paulo and London, 100,000 people will commute by vertical takeoff and landing aircraft every day.
・ VR is everywhere. Parents become dissatisfied with the fact that their children have always gone to another world. Since VR makes me feel like I’ve been to a tourist attraction, I’ve started avoiding tired trips and the number of trips begins to decrease.
-Solar and wind account for nearly 100% of new electricity generation
・ Robots have a real relationship with humans. This tendency is especially strong in fields such as old-age care, personal care, and meal preparation. Sex robots are also widespread.
With the spread of VR and robots, it seems that the need to be a real place and a real person will gradually disappear. If sex robots become widespread, it seems that the birth rate will drop at once, avoiding troublesome relationships.
The world from 2031 to 2038
・ AI will be equal to or better than human intelligence
・ Humanity will reach the speed of avoiding the lifespan of the wealthy (I think that if you have money, you can probably extend your lifespan with the power of technology)
・ Medical nanorobots will be demonstrated in the human body and will be able to expand the immune system.
・ All humans will be able to teleport their consciousness to remote areas around the world using avatar robots.
· Solve many super-difficult problems (eg cancer and poverty)
There will be no difficulty and the life will be longer. That’s a good thing. Even if it is painful, if you do your best for another 15 or 20 years, you will become a utopia, so it seems like a doctor’s ale to humankind.
