Aizen Myoo (\u68b5: r\u0101gar\u0101ja) is a deity of Buddhist faith and one of the wrathful deities known as “Myoo” in esoteric Buddhism. Aizen Myoo is often associated with love, marriage, and family harmony.<\/p>\n

The deity is depicted with an angry expression and six arms, like other Myoo. This depiction represents Aizen Myoo’s role in driving away evil spirits and protecting people. The six arms represent the six perfections (paramitas), symbolizing wisdom, compassion, morality, endurance, diligence, and meditation.<\/p>\n

The worship of Aizen Myoo originated from the Tantra philosophy of ancient India, which was brought to China and Japan and widely accepted during Japan’s Heian period when esoteric Buddhism flourished.
