真正仏舎利
成仏法を修したとき、わたくしは驚嘆したのである。それは、成仏力がこれまでと
まったくちがうのである。ニカ月、二回の修法で完全解脱してしまうのだ。その瞬間、わ
たくしはさとったのである。
なぜ、真正仏舎利が阿合宗へ来たのかを。
いま、仏教の果たすべき使命はなにか？
この世界の霊的浄化である。
人間の霊性復活。

それには、日本列島を覆う不成仏霊の一掃、三軒に一軒の割合いで存在する各家庭の霊
障のホトヶの解消、ここからはじめなければならない。
それをなし得るのは、釈迦の「成仏法」しかないのである。

そこで考えてみると、いま、仏教国の中で、この釈尊の理念をそのまま世におこなって
いるのは、わが阿含宗しかないのである。

しかし、率直にいって、釈尊の理念にもとづいて教化活動をしている教団があるであろ
うか。あるとしても、稀れである。
このたびの、スリランカよりの真正仏舎利贈与は、わが阿含宗からお願いしたものでは
ないのである。ふしぎな廻り合わせにより、スリランカ側から、「釈尊直説の阿含経を奉
持している日本で唯一の仏教教団」ということで、贈与のことが申し越されてきたのであ
わたくしは、これを、「仏さまのおこころ」として、心からよろこび、拝受したのであ
るが、それはまさしく「仏意」だったのである。
真正仏舎利といえども、正法によって法が修され、その 徳・法徳がひろく世につたえ
られて、ひとびとが救われるのでなければ、宝の持ちぐされというよりほかない。
法を持つ阿含宗に、真正仏舎利が祀られることを、仏さまは望まれたのだ。そして。
ス リランカからの真正仏舎利渡来となったのである。いまこそ、この真正仏舎利と成仏法を
以て、この世界の霊的浄化、人類の霊性復活に乗り出さねばならぬ、これが、仏さまの御
意志なのだ。
そう、わたくしはさとったのである。
阿含宗のモットーは、
宗教運動から社会運動へ である。
宗教運動というワクの中での活動では、もうこの世の中は救えないのである。社会運動
へと拡大せよ、これが阿含宗のモットーーである。
いま、阿含宗は、仏勅をかかげて、真正仏舎利を本尊とする社会浄化運動に、大きく歩
み出そうとしているのである。
